ANNUAL TEA AND BAKE SALE:
The date is Saturday, November 17th and tickets are available now ($7 each) from any Women’s Auxiliary (W. A.) member or at the Church Office.
In addition to baked goods, there will also be a Christmas Table featuring all things Christmas, such as wrapping paper, tags, décor items, etc.
We will need HELP, so please help us make this a successful event by donating items for these tables and responding favourably to requests for food

Just come down to the Hall and enjoy a delicious lunch of Soup, Rolls, Cookies, Tea/Coffee. Catch up on summer news, greet friends, make new acquaintances.
All are welcome! A free will offering is acceptable.
After a month of joint services with St. Andrews at the
Kirk, we are back at 11am at St. David’s on Elizabeth Ave. beginning
Sunday Services for the month of August will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 76 Queens Rd, St. John’s.
Our annual Garage Sale will take place on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10
AM. Popular items are small kitchen appliances, dishes, cutlery, kitchen
utensils, as well as home furniture (beds, tables, lamps, chairs,
bookcases, etc. Garden furniture, sporting goods, holiday items, tools.
books, records, CDs’, DVD’s puzzles, games, children’s toys, are also
welcome. There will be a white elephant stall for jewelry and
knickknacks. Unfortunately, we cannot accept electronics, computers, large
appliances, children’s beds, playpens, car seats, etc. The donation
drop-off is the day before the event on Friday, June 22nd, from 7 to 9 p.m.
If you have items that require pick-up, please contact the office during
regular office hours. *VOLUNTEERS* are needed for set-up, help with the
stalls and clean-up. If you are able to help, please contact the office
Our Annual Joint Church Picnic takes place on Sunday, June 17th, at 11 AM at North Bank Lodge, Pippy Park, Higgins Line. Following the service, burgers and hot dogs will be provided, as well as tea, coffee, juice. Those attending are asked to bring either a salad or dessert to share! You will also need to bring a folding chair, dishes and cutlery for your Lunch. We hope for a fine day and look forward to seeing you there!
St. David’s Plant Sale will be held on Saturday June 2nd at 9AM.
Perennials, fruit bushes, tomato plants, manure, house plants and more are ready to be planted in your garden!

Theme Tea: Tickets are now available for this year’s Theme Tea – Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 2 P. M . it’s a Nautical theme this year! Remember, there are only 120 tickets available and they cannot be purchased at the door; get them early so you won’t be disappointed. Tickets, at $10 each, are available at the Church Office or any W. A. member. Join us for a lovely Nau-TEA-cal afternoon of good food, fun and fellowship!
An added attraction at our Theme Tea is the very popular Surprise Bags! For $2, you purchase a paper bag which contains “who knows what” – a surprise! The only guarantee we make is that it is worth more than the $2 you pay for it. If you would like to contribute items for the bags, please feel free to bring them to the Church and place them in the container in the front porch. We will be happy to put them in bags and add them to our stock. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Moose Medley – Not your traditional Moose Dinner! Join us on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 6 PM at St. David’s Presbyterian Church, Elizabeth Avenue for Moose prepared in a variety of ways, served with sides, dessert, tea/coffee. Try Moose soup, Moose stew, braised Moose, sweet and sour Moose, Moose burritos & enchiladas, Szechuan Moose, Moose Bourguigon – you get the picture! Tickets, at $20/person, are available from the Church Office – please call 722-2382. Children under 10 are free.
