Our Annual Afternoon Tea & Bake Sale takes place on Saturday,
November 16, 2019 at 2:30 P. M. – and we need HELP! We especially
need items for the Bake Stall so if you are able to contribute baked
goods, pickles, jams, etc., that would be really appreciated. Donations
can be brought in on Friday night (Nov 15th) after 7 p.m. Help is also
needed for setting up, cleaning up, providing food for the tea tables,
serving, filling plates and so on! If you are available and willing to help,
please speak to Lillian Crawford, Janet Calver or Janet Aitken or Monica
in the Church Office. Tickets ($8.00) are available now or can be
purchased at the door. Come, bring a friend, and enjoy an afternoon of
good food and fellowship!
St. Andrew’s is hosting the Annual Joint Presbyterian Picnic at the Rotary Sunshine Park. The service will begin at 11:00am followed by feast and fun. You are asked to bring a salad or dessert, a comfortable chair, and your own plates, cups and utensils. Hamburgers, veggie burgers, hotdogs and drinks will be provided. Please join us for the fun and fellowship.
Another upcoming event – the Annual Garage Sale! It will be
on Saturday, June 1st, 10 AM – Noon. Popular items are small kitchen
appliances, dishes, cutlery, utensils, as well as home furniture (beds, tables,
lamps, chairs, bookcases, etc.) Garden furniture, sporting goods, holiday
items, tools. books, records, CDs’, DVD’s puzzles, games, toys, jewelry,
knickknacks are also welcome. Unfortunately, we cannot accept electronics,
computers, large appliances, children’s beds, playpens, car seats,
etc. Donations may be dropped off on Friday, May 31st, 7 – 9 PM. If you have
items that require pick-up, please contact the office during regular office
hours. VOLUNTEER help is needed for set-up, serve on the stalls and cleanup. If you are able to help, please contact the office.
Our Annual Plant Sale is set for June 1. This will run from 9-10
am immediately before the Garage Sale. If you have any plants – perennials,
annuals, vegetables, trees or shrubs, please drop them off at the church on
Friday, May 31st. If you need help getting them to the church, call Monica
722-2382 and she will arrange a pick-up. Volunteers always welcomed!
Tickets are available ($10 each) for the Annual Afternoon Tea-Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 2 PM. This year’s theme, “No time to Siesta; Time to Fiesta”, sets the tone for a lovely afternoon of fun, fellowship, and good food! Please join us and, remember, there is only one sitting and space is limited to 120 persons so get your tickets now from the Church Office or any W. A. (Women’s Auxiliary) member.
